Hours: 45 hours per week plus participation in the on-call rota and management support one weekend in four.

Your main duties and responsibilities
Provide strong and inspirational leadership to the office and care team, creating a positive, high-performing culture focused on delivering outstanding outcomes for clients.
Take overall responsibility for the safe, effective and compliant operation of the service, ensuring adherence to CIW regulations, legislative requirements, quality standards and Right at Home policies and procedures.
Lead the service in achieving and maintaining excellent inspection outcomes by embedding a culture of continuous improvement, quality assurance and best practice throughout the business.
Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of clients, Carers and office staff by maintaining robust policies, procedures and risk management processes.
Champion the Right at Home values and ethos, ensuring these are reflected consistently in service delivery, team development and decision-making across the business.
Continually review, evaluate and improve operational processes to maximise efficiency, enhance the client experience and support the delivery of exceptional care.
Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, training and retention of high-quality Carers, building a stable and engaged workforce capable of delivering outstanding care.
Ensure all colleagues receive the training, support and development required to perform their roles effectively and maintain the highest standards of care.
Maintain oversight of care delivery and scheduling, ensuring services are planned efficiently and that clients receive safe, reliable and person-centred support.
Lead quality assurance and governance activities, including spot checks, service reviews, audits and customer feedback, using insights to drive continuous service improvement.
Oversee the completion and ongoing review of assessments, risk assessments and support plans, ensuring care remains tailored to individual needs and consistently exceeds client expectations.
Support sustainable business growth by balancing commercial performance with quality outcomes, ensuring the service develops in line with agreed objectives and targets.
Participate in the management on-call rota and ensure effective out-of-hours support arrangements are maintained to provide continuity of service.
Provide management support to the office team on a rota basis, including one weekend in every four.
Represent the business professionally at meetings, training events, conferences and networking opportunities, promoting the Right at Home brand and reputation.
What qualifications and experience do you need?
Hold, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 4 (RMA) or QCF Level 5 qualification in Social Care
In-depth understanding of CIW assessment criteria and regulatory requirements
Previous management experience within a domiciliary care setting
Experience of managing, motivating and developing high-performing teams
Strong knowledge of quality assurance and governance processes
Ability to demonstrate a positive vision for homecare and drive continuous improvement
Commercial awareness and an understanding of business growth within the care sector
Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
Full UK driving licence
